Who is the one person in your life that can change your outlook?

As we have said often, you can't change others if you can't first change yourself. Author Ritu Ghatourey wrote, "If you're still looking for that one person who will change your life, take a look in the mirror."

Love that and thanks again for the reminder. Let's parse this for a moment. Others can influence and only you can change and only if you see the motivation to do so.

It might only be the narcissist who continually struggles with the idea of change.

Just curious, what are the probabilities that your present outlook needs a tweak?

By this comment, I don't see the necessity of obsession around the idea of narcissistic behavior. Instead a healthy awareness. If a majority of your self-talk is spent on telling yourself (and others) how good you are, there might be an opportunity to dial it back some. In my experience, you'll move the needle faster in your work, career and relationships.
